Neani woke up at the first beams of sunlight, freezing an lonely. Her red hair, wich normally radiated like a bonfire, hung dull from her head. She was no longer sure, if it was a good idea, to run from home. Yesterday it seemed like a great adventure, better than to marry someone, who was nearly as old as her father. But this feeling was gone as the sun went down. Exhausted she was sunken down at the trunk of a great tree. She didn’t love the night, that she had realized last night more than ever. With the night her energy seemed to ooze out of her, until nothing was left but despair. Neani had thought of returning home, bu

The passenger door opened, and she looked up, startled. “How did you open the door?” She had designed the car as a refuge for herself, a place where she could be safe without worries, and the doors only opened at her request. “They’re only supposed to open for me.” “This is my domain,” the Hunter said coolly, looking down at her. “Here all things obey my commands, and bow to my will.” He tossed the longsword, Coldfire, onto the back seat, then followed iZ/H In the Hunter's hands

Z/H Night FallsHunter/Zarasa It was several hours before nightfall when Zarasa awoke. She lay in bed with her eyes closed for a minute, then sat up slowly, easing herself into wakefulness. There was something wrong with the room, and she focused on it blearily, trying to determine the anomaly. It turned out to be incredibly obvious, once she actually looked around. The side of the room where the Hunter lay was shrouded in darkness. There was a clear sharp line across the floor where it began, leaving her plenty of space to move around, but encasing his bed and a small space around it completely. Zarasa reached out to touch it, and a cZ/H Night Falls

T/R A Dervish armedTreyvathar/Ri'anara The sound of steel ringing on steel greeted Treyvathar’s ears as he returned to his quarters late the next afternoon. He entered quietly, and was pleased to see Ri′anara locked in what looked like deadly combat with Kendryn, her two blades flashing as they wove in and around her sparkling blue and gold costume. Kendryn was holding her off, but several rents in the leather armor he wore showed where she had penetrated his defenses. She, on the other hand, was apparently untouched. “Do you fear to harm her, Kendryn?” he called out lightly. Neither combatant glanced his way, but Kendryn shook hisT/R A Dervish armed

The universe runs in cycles, meaning that focusing on the horizon means nothing because in the end all you're really doing is looking up your own ass, so just enjoy the walk.
